About Alberto Galdamez
I am a United States citizen formerly from El Salvador, and I created this blog to share my personal experience as an immigrant by bringing to light issues affecting both Immigrants and Americans, from an Immigrant’s point of view.
One of my passions is to be a successful business man and to help others. My purpose is to “change the mind of many immigrants who came to this country looking for an easy comfortable life. The only way we can thrive in this country is by adapting to the culture and becoming someone productive.” I live by what I preach – learn the language, get educated, and treat this country as your own — success will follow.
I graduated from Western Nevada College with a transfer degree in Associate of Arts. I am currently attending the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno and plan to pursue an MBA degree. I am the Director of Sales for the company I work for which allows me to travel internationally and learn more about other cultures. I consider myself an entrepreneur and have owed a few businesses during the last 12 years in this country. My new venture is a website dedicated to helping the Hispanic integrate to the American culture www.DonAlbertoDice.org . Because of my personality, entrepreneurial mind, and achievements, I have been quoted in online articles; I have been a guest speaker at colleges and have also participated at a live TV interview by CNN Spanish.
My family is what keeps me going, without their support I wouldn’t be able to continue working hard for a brighter future.
During my free time I like to travel, helping others, flying airplanes, and working on my cars, or doing anything that will keep me active.
My goal is to share my experience and point of views with people visiting my blog. I consider my personal experience valuable to both the immigrant as well as the American community. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I hope you find it helpful and interesting. Please feel free to share your comments and suggestions whether you agree or disagree with my points of view. I strongly believe and encourage open discussion.
Feel free to contact me if you would like to learn more about my experience as an immigrant and Thanks again for visiting my blog.
